The State Department has approved a pair of foreign military sale deals worth potentially $774.2 million combined for the government of Morocco to procure High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launchers and Joint Standoff Weapon systems from the U.S.
Morocco asked to buy 18 M142 HIMARS launchers along with 350 pieces of related equipment and support services for approximately $524.2 million, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
The JSOW procurement request includes 40 Raytheon-manufactured AGM-154C systems for Morocco’s F-16 aircraft fleet, associated equipment and services valued at $250 million.
