Boeing Wins $994M Transport Aircraft Logistics Support Contract

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has won a 10-year, $994 million contract to provide logistics and maintenance support for the U.S. Air Force’s C-32A and C-40B/C executive transport planes.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will include aircraft modification and program management services, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Work will occur at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois and Joint Base Andrews in Maryland through March 31, 2033.

The Air Force received two bids for the contract and is obligating $1.2 million on the initial task order with the branch’s fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds.

C-32’s primary passengers are the U.S. vice president, the first lady and politicians.

USAF uses the C-40B variant to transport combatant commanders, while the C-40C is built to carry members of Congress and the cabinet.
