Jay Jones, most recently chief operating officer of HighPoint Digital, has assumed the role of president at the government information technology and customer experience services provider.
HighPoint CEO Ben Lanius said in a statement published Tuesday Jones will oversee the company’s growth initiatives by driving the tactical execution of platforms meant to help the government improve citizen services.
In November 2021, Jones joined HighPoint as chief growth officer to help expand the company’s presence in the federal digital services market. Since moving to the company, he has played a role in several contract wins, rebranding effort and the formation of strategic partnerships.
Jones is a retired U.S. Army colonel who worked within the service’s information systems software center and the office of the directorate for information systems, command, control, communications and computers.
He held business development and management roles at KPMG Consulting, General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Deloitte and BearingPoint.
