In a LinkedIn post published Saturday, Rubal wrote that he will lead a team of BD managers and subject matter experts responsible for go-to-market initiatives related to the cloud company’s data storage offering for the federal civilian and defense sectors.
He most recently managed BD functions for the AWS Snow edge compute and Hybrid/Edge computing and data movement services portfolios.
Rubal was a senior account executive for Air Force and combatant commands at Dell EMC before he joined AWS in late 2019.
His more than four-decade career also includes various positions within the government-focused businesses at DLT Solutions, Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) Blue Coat Systems and Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO).
