The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council has announced the appointment of government and industry leaders Scott Simpson, Sandy Barsky and Terrell Russell to its technology acquisition program, FedScoop reported Wednesday.
Simpson, digital transformation lead at the Department of Homeland Security, has assumed the role of government chair at ACT-ICT. He spent a decade as a contracting officer supporting the office of the chief information officer, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the office of the chief information security officer.
Barsky, executive program director for government and education at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) has taken up the position of industry vice chair at ACT-ICT. Prior to Oracle, he spent nearly four decades at the General Services Administration as an information technology acquisition leader.
Russell, a manager at JPI Dev, has been named programs chair at ACT-ICT. He previously held leadership and program management roles at Yombu, CGI, E3 Federal Solutions and Accenture (NYSE: ACN).
According to the report, Simpson, Barsky and Russell succeed the outgoing ACT-ICT leaders Jaime Gracia, Kevin Youel Page and Lisa Zellers, respectively.
