In its most recent Executive Spotlight interview, ExecutiveBiz spoke with John Foley, president and chief financial officer of DSA, about the company’s growth strategy, agreement with Virginia Tech, focus on internal IT services and quality management as well as recent contract wins. The interview also picked up from a Competitive Intelligence Spotlight discussion in 2020 about the best practices of DSA and the benefits of CI.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Foley:
“The fact that DSA is 100 percent employee-owned, enables us to focus on long-term growth for our associates which is best achieved by focusing on our customers’ missions. We may not have the same pressure as private equity-backed companies or public companies for short-term results. This frees us up to focus on long-term strategy and developing our associates’ talents and skills.”
