CMMC-AB also announced the appointment of Matthew Newfield, senior vice president and chief security and infrastructure officer of Unisys (NYSE: UIS); and Clifton Poole, director for corporate security at Unison, as board members.
Newfield, who has more than 19 years of IT experience, previously worked at IBM (NYSE: IBM) as director of global managed security services and also serves on the National Technology Security Coalition’s board of directors.
Poole, a 15-year IT professional and a two-decade U.S. Army veteran, is a former associate director for cloud security of Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal subsidiary and served in senior roles at the Raytheon company.
