Gerry Dixon to Succeed Michael Herrinton as EY US Government Practice Leader

Gerry Dixon, a three-decade veteran of EY, will succeed Michael Herrinton as managing partner of the professional services firm’s U.S. government and public sector practice, effective July 1.

The professional services firm said Monday Dixon will be responsible for helping federal, state and local government clients address mission requirements in his next position.

“I look forward to building on this strong track record and to leading our talented professionals as they collaborate with clients to build a better working world for all,” Dixon noted.

He has managed EY’s accounts, marketing and business development functions in the eastern region since 2016, previously served as leader for company’s US-East consulting services and helped the company establish its global practice for risk services.

Herrinton, who has served as the EY U.S. government sector leader since 2015 and was selected for Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list for 2017, plans to retire in June 2022.
