In his new capacity, Ray will be responsible for strategy development and profit and loss functions within SAIC’s space group.
He previously served as president of FLIR Systems‘ (NYSE: FLIR) government and defense segment for more than two years after his career with Raytheon, where his last title was VP of global business development and strategy for the legacy company’s intelligence, information and services unit.
Ray started his industry career at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) as a senior management consultant and he also spent five years in the U.S. Air Force as a communications officer.
