AAR Unit Lands $148M Navy IDIQ for Aircraft Logistics Support

AAR's (NYSE: AIR) government services unit has won a five-year, $148.4M contract to perform logistics services for the U.S. Navy's C-40A Clipper aircraft.

The company will help the Navy maintain C-40A units, associated subsystems and support equipment at depots, commercial lines and main operating bases, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will take place at locations in Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, Virginia, California, Washington and Hawaii, through December 2025.

Naval Air Systems Command held a competitive solicitation for the contract and received three proposals.

The Boeing-made (NYSE: BA) C-40A aircraft flies for naval and marine transport and logistics operations.
