Maj. Gen. Greg Masiello, program executive officer for air anti-submarine warfare, assault and special mission programs at Naval Air Systems Command, will participate in a panel discussion during  Potomac Officers Club’s 2020 Navy Forum on September 30th. The panel will feature Capt. Frank Futcher, director of NavalX. Susan Lawrence, managing director of the Joint Forces Sector with Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and Wash100 Award recipient, will moderate the expert panel.

L3Harris Gets $104M Navy Contract for Lot 17 Onboard Jamming Tech Production

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has received a three-year, $104M contract to provide onboard jammer systems and weapons replacement assemblies to the U.S. Navy. The company will produce 35 lot 17 Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures OBJs and 27 WRAs under the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Lockheed to Modify Eight F-35As for Air Force Under $862M Contract Modification

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded an $861.7M contract modification to convert eight F-35A jets originally manufactured for Turkey into the U.S. Air Force configuration as a result of the Turkish government's exit from the Joint Strike Fighter program. USAF will also receive an additional six units of the conventional takeoff and landing variant as part of the modification awarded by the U.S. Navy's Naval Air Systems Command, the Department of Defense said Monday.
