He joins the Arlington, Va.-based firm as it looks to apply data and machine learning tools to help defense customers address missions, Govini said Monday.
Prior to joining Shield AI in 2018, Jones oversaw projects and product offerings across Palantir's defense, intelligence, retail and supply chain areas. He also founded tactical intelligence company Echo Response Technologies and served as its CEO from 2013 to 2014.
“His deep national security experience will allow him to expand our current products in areas related to defense supply chains, resourcing and reform, and technology and innovation,” said Govini CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty.
