William Phillips, vice president for Army and Special Operations Forces field marketing at Boeing (NYSE: BA) and a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has been appointed to serve on Day & Zimmermann's board of advisers.
The 38-year Army veteran brings to the D&Z advisory board his experience in areas such as defense contracting, security and aviation, the company said Wednesday.
His military career included time as the branch's acquisition chief from 2010 to 2014, commanding general at the Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey and program executive officer for ammunition.
Phillips previously served as executive VP for operations and a board director at Tysons Corner, Virginia-based software provider OBXtek.
