John Simmons, a retired U.S. Marine Corps brigadier general, has been named chief strategy officer of Fulton, Md.-based endpoint protection company Attila Security.
He brings 15 years of executive-level military experience in areas such as cybersecurity, supply chain, classified communications and network architecture to his new position, Attila said Tuesday.
Simmons will help lead the company’s efforts to grow its supply chain products and identify market transition and growth opportunities.
His military leadership, knowledge of the inner workings of the Department of Defense and government connections are invaluable to a company at our stage,” Attila CEO Gregg Smith said.
