Mark Testoni, president and CEO of SAP National Security Services, told TechTarget in an interview published Friday about the federal government’s adoption of cloud platforms.

“So cloud architecture capability is alive and well in the government, including in the most sensitive areas for business,” said Testoni, a 2019 Wash100 winner.

“There's been a tremendous amount of activity [around the cloud] in the last few years, and the government has set up a whole body of standards and requirements to operate clouds,” he added.

Testoni discussed the Department of Defense’s Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure program and the cloud’s potential role in the intelligent enterprise.

Harish Luthra, managing director of secure cloud business at SAP NS2, joined Testoni in the interview to talk about cloud, artificial intelligence and other technologies.
