Boeing Signs Deal for Investment, Partnership With Israeli Companies; Leanne Caret Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 28, 2018 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has entered into a reciprocal purchase agreement with Israel’s government in which the U.S. defense firm will invest in and partner with Israeli companies on certain contracts, ExecutiveBiz reported Nov. 2.

The Jerusalem Post reported Oct. 31 that Boeing will collaborate with the local industry in Israel for at least 35 percent of the value of government contracts worth more than $1M.

“This agreement ensures that the relationship and partnership [between Boeing and Israel] will continue to grow and prosper in the coming decades,” said Leanne Caret, CEO of Boeing’s defense, space and security business and a two-time Wash100 awardee.
