The NATO battlegroup based in Latvia has held a capabilities demonstration.
Each of the six enhanced Forward Presence nations took part. The battlegroup was properly stood up at the end of last month.
Its led by Canada and includes soldiers from Albania, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Spain. Three other battlegroups are stationed in Estonia, Lithuania and Poland. They are an important part of NATOs defence and deterrence posture in the eastern and south-eastern part of the Alliance.
