Textron Subsidiary Wins $475M USSOCOM Unmanned Aircraft ISR Services IDIQ


AAI, a subsidiary of Textron (NYSE: TXT),  has won a potential $475 million contract to provide unmanned aircraft system intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services to the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has an ordering period of four and a half years and will run through July 2022, the Defense Department said Monday.

USSOCOM received eight bids through a competitive procurement and obligated $150, 000 at the time of the award from its fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
