Raytheon Lands $97M Modification on SOCOM Terrain Radar Production Contract

Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a $96.6M contract modification from the U.S. Special Operations Command to continue manufacturing terrain following and terrain avoidance radars. The modification increases the total potential value of the Silent Knight Radar contract to $300M and covers low-rate initial production of the system, the Department of Defense said Friday.
