United Technologies Corp.‘s (NYSE: UTX) Pratt & Whitney subsidiary has received a three-year, $151.7 contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide a range of F-35 Lightning II aircraft supplies and services.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday the modification covers initial spare modules, engine system trainers, support equipment and depot activation services and supplies for the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force as well as U.S. partner nations and foreign military customers.
Work will occur in Hartford, Connecticut and Indianapolis, Indiana through September 2019.
The Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full modification amount from fiscal 2014 and 2016 aircraft procurement, international partner and foreign military sales funds.
