Oasis Buys MAR in Govt Services Market Push; Tom Colatosti Comments

acquisition,  mergerOasis Systems has bought professional services company MAR for an undisclosed amount as Oasis looks to expand its reach in the federal government and defense markets.

Oasis said Tuesday the combined company will operate in 24 locations throughout the U.S. and work to deliver information technology, cybersecurity, systems engineering, marine operations and C4ISR program support services.

Oasis CEO Tom Colatosti said the combined company will also offer “synergistic” platforms for existing and prospective customers.

Colatosti added the current management at MAR will remain in place.

Bluestone Capital and Houlihan Lokey respectively served as the financial advisers of MAR and Oasis on the all-cash transaction.
