Pieter Schoehuijs Joins Capgemini as Group CIO; Aiman Ezzat Comments

Capgemini-logoPieter Schoehuijs, former chief information officer of AkzoNobel, has joined Capgemini as group CIO.

Schoehuijs will report to Aiman Ezzat, Capgemini’s chief financial officer and group management board member, Capgemini said Monday.

“Pieter has global experience and an excellent track record in driving technology transformation in several industries, ” Ezzat said.

Before AkzoNobel, Schoehuijs served as CIO at Church & Dwight, Engelhard and BASF’s catalysts business unit.

He held various jobs at several information technology firms such as systems engineer at IBM (NYSE: IBM), IT auditor at Ernst & Young and IT director of flow solutions division at Flowserve (NYSE: FLS).

The two-decade IT veteran also served in the Royal Dutch Navy as an information analyst with the rank of second lieutenant of special services.
