GSA Requests Info on Potential $100M Trainer Developer III Contract

The General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service has begun seeking information on a potential $100 million single-award contract to provide information technology and engineering support services to the 502d Trainer Development Squadron.

The Trainer Developer II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will support the squadron in developing, fabricating and maintaining IT-based simulation and training systems for the Department of Defense, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.

The IDIQ will cover the development, integration an testing of simulators, simulator systems and associated components; modification of aircraft to design, develop and fabricate mock-up simulators; and provision of materials and hardware for the completion of systems integration projects.

Located at Joint Base San Antonio in Texas, 502 TDS builds flight, ground, sea and technical training devices for defense customers and offers engineering services and support for multi-platform simulation and training devices and foreign military sales programs.

Interested parties have until April 29 to respond to the request for information.
