Special Operations Command Extends 7 Enterprise IT Contracts

US Special operation commandThe U.S. Special Operations Command has issued two-year extensions for a set of enterprise information technology enterprise contracts intended to support application management.

USSOCOM extended seven indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts initially awarded in 2011 with additional two one-year options and raised the overall ceiling, the command said Wednesday.

The extensions are to help the program executive office for command, control, communications and computers and the chief information officer to work to reduce delays and duplicate costs in IT services.

Contractors covered under the extensions include:

  • Berico Technologies
  • BAE Systems Information Solutions
  • Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH)
  • CACI International (NYSE: CACI)
  • L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL)
  • Pragmatics
  • Systems Research and Applications Corp.

The companies are responsible for developing applications and databases, maintain these services and training office personnel.

The Federal Acquisition Regulation will execute the contract extensions, which cover the SITEC application management tower provisions and performance work statements.
