TASC Gets $54M DHS Nuclear Detection Office Task Orders; Bruce Philips Comments

TASC Inc. has won three task orders with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office worth $54 million, the company announced Tuesday.

The company will help DNDO assess systems-related operational employment, technical and performance levels, said Bruce Phillips, vice president for infrastructure protection and security.

TASC will also provide full life cycle support to the DNDO architecture, products and acquisition, and systems engineering and evaluation directorates on the task orders.

Work will also include deliver mission and architecture analysis, systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation, and modeling and simulation services.

In early May, the company received a six-month extension for work on a Defense Information Systems Agency omnibus contract, increasing the ceiling for all awardees to $1.25 billion.
