Boeing Space and Intelligence Receives CMMI Maturity Level 3 Recertification

Boeing’s (NYSE: BA) Space and Intelligence Systems (S&IS) division earned Maturity Level 3 re-certification of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for hardware and systems development.

“This CMMI Level 3 rating is a significant accomplishment, given that less than 2 percent of organizations with more than 2, 000 employees are able to achieve that level, ” said Craig Cooning, S&IS vice president and general manager. “Boeing’s S&IS organization includes more than 5, 000 employees.”
