Raytheon Missile Defense Support Modification Increases Contract Value to $1B


MissileDefenseRaytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a $132.4 million modification from the Missile Defense Agency that raises the ceiling value of a previously awarded contract for Ballistic Missile Defense System support services to approximately $1.1 billion.

The Defense Department said Tuesday that Raytheon’s integrated defense systems unit will continue to perform software maintenance, modeling and simulation, engineering, test planning, execution and analysis of the BMD system’s X-Band radars.
