Sotera Completes Purchase of Potomac Fusion, Developer of Cloud, ISR Solutions

Sotera Defense Solutions completed its acquisition of Potomac Fusion Inc. on Friday, according to a company announcement.

Sotera announced on Dec. 1 it had agreed to acquire the Chantilly, Va.-based company, a developer of information solutions for defense and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems that operate in cloud computing environments.

Sotera President and CEO said “Potomac Fusion’s expertise in cloud computing architectures, data fusion and data analytics expands the broad range of support we can provide to help our national security customers achieve their missions at home and abroad.”

Sotera said Potomac Fusion will continue to be led by Russell Richardson, the company’s CEO.
