Siemens’ Federal Arm Wins $829M Naval Base Energy Conservation Task Order

The federal subsidiary of Siemens has won an $828.8M task order from the U.S. Navy to build, operate and maintain energy conservation systems at Naval Base Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. The task order for Arlington, Va.-based Siemens Government Technologies falls under an energy savings performance contract originally awarded by the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
