The State Department has approved a potential $104M foreign military sale to Egypt of one Northrop Grumman-built (NYSE: NOC) system for protecting aircrews from incoming infrared threats. The Egyptian government asked to buy an AN/AAQ-24(V)N Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures system for integration onto the country's head-of-state airplane, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday.
