Boeing Lands $680M Navy IDIQ for Aircraft Modernization Support

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a five-year, $680.1 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to provide software and hardware enhancement services for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft of the service branch and the Royal Australian Air Force.

Under the contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday Boeing will be responsible for producing, delivering and installing aircrew and maintenance training systems, software and hardware configuration upgrades and associated logistics support.

The associated logistics services include providing spares, support equipment, manual updates, software discrepancy report correction efforts and training support for various aircrew and maintenance training systems and subsystems.

Work is slated to take place in St. Louis, Missouri, through February 2029.

DOD noted that funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued.
