Sikorsky to Begin Presidential Helicopter Production Under $542M Award

The U.S. Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky Aircraft subsidiary a three-year, $542M contract modification to begin low-rate initial production of VH-92A presidential transport helicopters. Sikorsky will build six lot 1 LRIP units and provide interim support, spare parts, support equipment and replenishment services under the Presidential Helicopter Replacement Program, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Nine Firms Win Spots on Potential $1B IRS IT Program Mgmt Support BPA

The Internal Revenue Service has awarded nine companies spots on a potential five-year, $1B blanket purchase agreement for support services to IRS' Information Technology Enterprise Program Management Office, G2Xchange ETC reported Friday. Dell EMC to Help Air Force Manage Instrumentation Systems Under $74M IDIQ

Dell EMC has received a $74.4M contract to perform support work on a system designed to help the U.S. Air Force process and analyze instrumentation test data. The company will also train USAF personnel on how to operate and troubleshoot instrumentation, loading, integration, analysis and decommutation system, or ILIAD, the Department of Defense said Friday.

USAF Plans $93M Space Tech Engineering Contract Extension Award to Johns Hopkins APL

The U.S. Air Force plans to award Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory a $93M contract extension to help the military branch engineer space-based systems. Under the sole-source contract, APL will continue to provide research and development services in areas such as space science and engineering, strategic systems, theater air defense and information technology, USAF said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice.
