Aircraft Readiness Alliance Lands $176M Navy Aircraft Maintenance Support Contract

A joint venture of Tyonek WorldWide Services, Affordable Engineering Services and Zenetex has secured a five-year, $176.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Navy maintain and repair aircraft platforms.

Aircraft Readiness Alliance JV will provide depot-level maintenance support services for fielded aircraft and engines, refurbish existing aviation end items and manufacture component parts, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Seventy-six percent of work will occur in Jacksonville, Florida, and the rest in Oceana, Virginia.

The Navy’s Commander, Fleet Readiness Center in Patuxent River, Maryland, received one offer for the IDIQ via a competitive acquisition and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders.

DOD expects work to conclude by April 2029.

In June 2023, ARA was awarded a $408.2 million small business set-aside contract to help the Navy’s Fleet Readiness Center Southwest modernize and repair the service branch’s aircraft fleet.
