Robert Cleave
Robert Cleave, a 13-year veteran of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and founder of satellite operator Xtar, has been named chief revenue officer of space launch company Vector.
He will lead a line of business as well as budgeting, customer acquisition and partnership efforts in his new position, Vector said Thursday.
The three-decade space industry veteran will also support a product development initiative related to the software-based GalacticSky satellite platform.
Cleave previously served as president of commercial launch services and vice president of the commercial satellite business at Lockheed.
He joins Vector after the company raised $70M through a Series B funding round and plans to use the money to expand the firm’s business development, sales and marketing department.
The company noted it also seeks to accelerate its production and GalacticSky development efforts.
