CTFV Acquisition Closes Buy of Peraton’s Systems Engineering Arm; Damian DiPippa Named SES Business Lead

CTFV Acquisition, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital-backed Vantage Fund, has completed its purchase of Peraton’s SES business.

The SES business is focused on providing systems engineering, integration and support services and will now be led by Damian DiPippa, most recently president of Peraton’s systems engineering sector, as an independent company, Peraton said Thursday.

Herndon, Virginia-based Peraton said the separation will allow the two companies to focus on their respective capabilities to meet the mission requirements of intelligence community and defense customers.

The SES business will undergo a rebranding effort to adopt a new corporate identity and name.

Jefferies served as financial adviser, while Milbank and Covington & Burling acted as legal counsel to Peraton. Latham & Watkins was Vantage Fund’s legal adviser in the transaction.
