Vectrus‘ (NYSE: VEC) systems subsidiary has won a potential two-year $60M task order from the U.S. Navy to help the service branch manage Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
The order was issued through the Global Contingency Services Multiple Award Contract II and contains a one-year base period along with two six-month options, Vectrus said Thursday
Chuck Prow, president and CEO at Vectrus, said the award builds on the company’s support work on information technology networks for the Navy’s afloat force and electromagnetic effects engineering program.
Prow added the company aims to expand its geographic presence and portfolio through innovation approaches.
Vectrus will provide vehicles and equipment, facility management and investment, ground maintenance and landscaping, and other base operations support services at the Guantanamo Bay facility under the order.
