TriWest Healthcare Alliance has received a potential $25.9B contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to oversee VAs network of health care providers in the fourth region. VA announced the Community Care Network Region 4 contract award in a notice posted Tuesday on FedBizOpps.
According to the performance work statement for the CCN Region 4 program, TriWest will manage and track quality outcomes; pay and process claims to improve health care experiences for veterans; provide customer service; and use data and performance metrics to improve services.
The contract also requires the company to serve as a third-party administrator.
