TransDigm Group (NYSE: TDG) has appointed company veterans Mike Lisman and Joel Reiss as co-chief operating officers to succeed Jorge Valladares, who has held the COO post since 2019.
Valladares is set to retire as COO at the end of TransDigm’s 2023 fiscal year and has joined the company’s board of directors, the Cleveland-based aircraft components manufacturer said Friday.
He will remain in the company until his retirement date to ensure a smooth transition of his rsponsibilities to Lisman and Reiss.
Lisman has served as chief financial officer at TransDigm since 2018 and was previously vice president of the mergers and acquisitions team.
He also managed the air and fuel valves business unit at AeroFluid Products, a TransDigm operating company.
TransDigm selected Chief Accounting Officer Sarah Wynne to replace Lisman in the CFO role.
Reiss, on the other hand, has been an executive vice president at the company for the past eight years.
He previously served as president of Hartwell Corp. and Skurka Aerospace and as director of operations at Adams Rite Aerospace.
