ST Engineering has dissolved its VT Systems International subsidiary and consolidated business operations in the U.S.
The defense and engineering company said Monday it merged VT Land Systems — which held the Hackney, LeeBoy and Aethon brands — to ST Engineering North America.
ST Engineering NA was the result of a rebranding effort in June last year.
Additionally, the government division of the North American arm took over VT Marine operations, which included a shipbuilding business in Pascagoula, Miss.
The Singapore-based company does not expect the dissolution and merger efforts to have a "material impact" on its earnings and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year.
