In this capacity, Torrellas will lead the strategic vision of CTS and help the business build up its customer base and improve partnerships with existing clients.

Torrellas joined Cubic from Parsons (NYSE: PSN), where he served as global business unit president of connected communities and oversaw a team of 2,500 engineers and innovators in traffic management, rail systems, utilities, aviation and environmental remediation. He also founded the company’s digital transformation arm, Parsons X.
Before Parsons, he held leadership roles at Siemens, including managing partner for digital cities and infrastructure at Siemens Advanta and head of smart cities and communities at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
