The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has awarded six companies positions on a potential 10-year, $502 million blanket purchase agreement for a wide range of IT support services.
According to the Federal Procurement Data System, NRC awarded the contract Wednesday after receiving nine offers. The six selected companies are:
The Global Infrastructure and Development Acquisition, or GLINDA, contract serves as NRC’s primary vehicle for procuring IT and information management capabilities for the agency’s headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, and regional offices. The BPA gives NRC the flexibility to support enterprise IT planning and management while aligning technology investments with organizational priorities, covering network services, data center and cloud support, operational security and application operations, maintenance and modernization.
GLINDA Contract History & Recent Task Orders
The GLINDA contract was initially awarded in 2017 to ActioNet, CGI Federal, Gunnison, Leidos, TekSynap and Vistronix, which had already been acquired by ASRC Federal. At the time, Gunnison held its position through Global Solutions & Services Frameworks, which it later acquired in 2020. In November 2022, NRC issued task orders under the GLINDA vehicle, with CGI Federal receiving a $17.4 million contract to enhance the agency’s cybersecurity tools, and Gunnison booking a follow-on task order focused on mobile enterprise support.
