Joe Oliva, an 11-year Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) veteran, has joined CAES as vice president of programs within the defense systems division, according to a LinkedIn post published Wednesday.
He brings to the role two decades of business development and program management experience in the defense and aerospace industry.
Oliva joined Northrop in November 2012 and held the role of senior program director for more than a decade.
He came to the defense contractor following an eight-year career at Orbital ATK, which Northrop acquired in 2018 for approximately $9.2 billion to form its innovation systems division.
At Orbital ATK, Oliva oversaw business and program development functions for space launch systems and area test flights.
