Motorola Solutions has secured a potential $93.6M contract to help the U.S. Navy sustain an enterprise land mobile radio technology that supports Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s anti-terrorism and force protection ashore initiative.

The company will repair, overhaul or replace equipment, manage asset, password and configuration, and install updated software as part of the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The service branch awarded the contract via a sole-source acquisition process and obligated $23.8M at the time of award.

Contract work is initially scheduled to run through December 2020 and would extend until June 2023 if all options are exercised.
