Virtualitics has appointed Chris Brown as its public sector chief technology officer, adding a senior technology executive with decades of experience in federal consulting and analytics to the company as it expands its defense business.
Brown, who announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post, is now responsible for shaping technical strategy for Virtualitics’ public sector customers, working across federal agencies, partners and internal product teams to align artificial intelligence capabilities with operational requirements.
Rob Bocek, chief revenue officer at Virtualitics, said Brown’s technical depth and executive background will support the company’s next phase of growth. “We are laser focused on delivering high-impact readiness AI to the Department of War and adjacent Federal agencies,” Bocek noted.
Who Is Chris Brown?
Brown joins Virtualitics after serving as public sector CTO at Immuta. Prior to that, he held senior technical and consulting roles at Atlas Research, Booz Allen Hamilton and Hewlett-Packard, advising defense and civilian agencies on cloud migration, DevSecOps, analytics and data governance.
Throughout his career, Brown has collaborated with organizations such as the U.S. Special Operations Command and the Navy. His background spans software engineering, enterprise architecture, federal compliance and go-to-market strategy.
How Does Chris Brown’s Appointment Align With Virtualitics’ Federal Growth?
Brown’s appointment comes as Virtualitics continues to expand its footprint in the public sector. The company has secured multiple defense contracts tied to readiness analytics, including recent awards supporting Marine Corps aviation readiness and Air Force logistics optimization.
Virtualitics has also advanced its AI offerings for government customers through platforms such as Integrated Readiness Optimization and the recently introduced Virtualitics Iris, a generative AI-enabled interface designed to accelerate insight generation and decision-making for defense leaders.
Why Did Chris Brown Join Virtualitics Now?
Brown said he was drawn to Virtualitics’ focus on applying AI in operational environments rather than limiting deployments to proofs of concept.
“When I looked at the Virtualitics website, I was excited to see how the company was using AI to solve the readiness problem in the DoW,” he shared.
