Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) has wrapped up the purchase of the Airbus DS Communications business from Airbus Group‘s defense and space segment.
Chicago-based Motorola said Wednesday it made the acquisition to expand its portfolio of command center and software enterprise platforms.
Airbus DS Communications offers the VESTA emergency call-handling software designed to support text-to-911 service, data management, analytics and mapping functions.
Motorola first announced the transaction in July 2017 and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
