Michael Rutkowski, a 29-year U.S. Army veteran and a former executive at customer management technology provider MCI, has joined B3 Group as director of strategic initiatives.
He will be responsible for growing B3’s business relationships in the federal sector and its product modernization efforts, the company said Wednesday.
The retired colonel most recently served as executive vice president and chief business development officer at MCI’s federal services division.
Rutkowski piloted the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during his Army career. In the last two years of his military service, he worked as senior military adviser to the Department of Veterans Affairs secretary and as deputy director of the VA’s Electronic Healthcare Records Modernization project.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, a master’s degree from National Defense University and an MBA from Florida State University.
