Michael Ellerbe, a retired U.S. Army officer, has been named president of OSC Edge.
The Atlanta, Georgia-based engineered IT provider said Tuesday Ellerbe will spearhead OSC Edge’s next phase of growth and innovation. The federal strategy leader will leverage over forty years of experience encompassing national defense, government technology and enterprise business development.
Who Is Michael Ellerbe?
Ellerbe has been a long-standing executive at NTT DATA and its subsidiary, NTT DATA Federal, for over 15 years. He was most recently the chief strategy officer of NTT DATA Federal, where he oversaw the implementation of the company’s three to five year strategic growth plan. He also helped develop a $1.6 billion pipeline of high-value opportunities and achieve a 77 percent recompete win rate.
The decorated Army veteran initially worked at NTT DATA for over 12 years, where he served as senior director of client executive for the Department of Defense portfolio. In this role, Ellerbe managed enterprise-level initiatives for the Army, Air Force, Navy and Special Operations Command.
The federal contracting leader was also the senior vice president of the DOD business at FedBid from 2006 to 2009.
Before joining the private sector, Ellerbe served in the Army. He was the chief of the Joint Operations Division, chief of current operations of the XVIII Airborne Corps, battalion commander and battalion operations officer.
“As president, Mike brings both operational excellence and a deep understanding of the federal mission to OSC Edge,” says Tiffany Bailey, CEO of OSC Edge. “His proven leadership and strategic vision are exactly what we need to scale our impact across defense and federal agencies,” she added.
