Matthew Gallagher, a two-decade public sector sales veteran, has been named vice president of civilian programs at information technology services provider Citizant, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
Gallagher most recently directed Department of Defense programs at New York-based software developer CAST, where he oversaw new accounts as well as customer success and growth efforts in the DoD market.
He also held federal sales management positions at Micro Focus, Decision Lens, Troux, Popkin Software & Systems and Ericom Software.
His previous experience involved leading delivery of security, identity management, data analytics and enterprise architecture offerings to public sector customers.
Citizant offers IT modernization, data management, application development and DevSecOps services.
The Chantilly, Va.-based company holds spots in contract vehicles managed by the departments of Homeland Security and Justice, the U.S. Air Force and the General Services Administration.
