Leonard Moss
Leonard Moss, a veteran national security leader, has joined Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as chief security officer and head of the security services department.
He will coordinate with APL’s executive council as he executes the lab’s strategy to evaluate and mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and manage incidents and crises, APL said Thursday.
Moss will also serve as a member of APL’s Operations Forum and as a senior official of the lab’s Insider Threat Program.
He previously served as chief security officer and senior vice president for corporate security, facilities and real estate at DynCorp International. He also served as president of NCMS, Inc. – The Society of Industrial Security Professionals for two terms.
