A Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) subsidiary has secured a potential five-year, $400 million contract to continue to provide test, evaluation and support services at NASAs White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.
The Test Evaluation and Support Team 2 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract awarded to Jacobs Technology contains a two-year base period and three option years, NASA said Tuesday.
The firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee contract covers components and materials testing, propulsion system testing, flight hardware refurbishment and processing, hypervelocity impact testing, composite pressure systems analysis and testing, emergency services as well as laboratory and facility operation and maintenance support.
The company is scheduled to begin contract work on May 1, according to NASA.
